Northeast Action provides a space for regional leaders to analyze political conditions and identify strategies needed for future generations of movement building. As a regional center Northeast Action has had more time and distance to be able to analyze issues and bring players together for longer-term thinking. Because of our close day to day relationships with affiliates, Northeast Action can help shape new strategies that stretch the network - but also are still rooted in the realities of the field. We serve as a center for shared learning and analysis. We often advance our strategies in partnerships with national organizations such as Grassroots Policy Project, Applied Research Center, USAction, Center for Community Change, Public Campaign and others. We have been able to move strategies in a coordinated fashion in our region and states in the areas of:
